Photo of the Week.

Mississauga Aerial 101 operates its tower ladder during a 2nd Alarm+ fire involving a new housing development on the south side of Burnhamthorpe Rd. between Pony Trail Drive and Fieldgate Drive late on June 29th. More than 20 townhouses, in various states of completion were destroyed. The fire was reminiscent of the early 1980's, when Mississauga was plagued with numerous large-scale fires in sub-divisions under construction. Jon Lasiuk photo.
